RE for week beginning Monday 30th November

This week we thinking about when Jesus comes back. During Advent the church spends time focussing on the promise of Jesus’ return.

What will happen when he returns?  Do you have any ideas?

Read  Acts 1 below,

Acts 1

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Create your own picture of what you think it will be like when he returns. Bring it in for the class collage.

See the picture below, this is someone else's idea.

This week we are starting to use spread sheets. Log into 2calculate

Task – Explore and revisit what you did last year in Year 5.

I have saved a spread sheet in the class folder, Spread sheet Y6 lesson 1

Have look at this, see if you can copy it and work out what’s going on?

Don’t worry, we have got lots of time to look at this when you are back as well.
