News

Welcome to St Paul's!

We can't wait to get to know you and your children.

Please make a note of the following dates:

Your child is invited to spend some time with us (without parents / carers) on the following dates:

  • Thursday 13th June 1.30pm - 3pm
  • Thursday 20th June 1.30pm – 3pm
  • Thursday 27th June NO VISIT ON THIS DAY
  • Thursday 4th July 1.30pm—3pm

It is very important that your child attends all the above sessions. Please let us know asap, if your child cannot make any of the sessions. Your child does not need to wear school uniform on these days.

On Friday 12th July, we will be holding a ‘drop in’ session between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. You are welcome to accompany your child and will be given the chance to see the EYFS Unit in action. You can stay for 5 minutes, or for the whole duration—it is entirely up to you!

When will my child start school?

Your child will be starting school (and will need full uniform), on Monday 9th September—please see times below:

Monday 9th September 8.45am—11.45pm

Tuesday 10th September 8.45am – 12.45pm (to include lunch)

From Wednesday 11th September onwards, all children will be in school every day from 8.45 – 3.25pm.

Please note: If you feel that your child may have additional needs, please telephone school on 01282 617035, to make an appointment with one of our SENDCO’s, who will aim to answer any questions that you may have.

We look forward to a successful partnership with you.

Mrs M Cregg – Deputy Headteacher / EYFS Lead.

Home Visits

We would like to arrange to visit you and your child in your home, on one of the dates below:

  • Wednesday 4th September 10am—3pm
  • Thursday 5th September 9am—3pm
  • Friday 6th September 9am—3pm

Each visit will last no longer than 20 minutes and will give you a chance to talk about any concerns that you may have, with the class teacher. Another member of the team will have a friendly chat with your child and show him/her some pictures of their new school and classroom.

You will soon receive details on how to book a home visit.

What will my child need?
