Football Club is every Tuesday for Years 3 and 4. Years 5 and 6 are moving back to Tuesdays too starting from 24th January. If you would like your child to join then please contact the office for a letter. We will have some matches to look forward to in the coming weeks!!

The pupils who have taken part regularly in cross country club this term enjoyed a visit from the Up & Active team this morning. They played Kick Rounders, Dodge ball and made their own smoothies on the bikes. Fun, Fun, FUn!

A huge THANK YOU to Morrisons in Nelson for generously donating all the fruit for the cross country activity!

Well done to all the runners that took part in the Pendle schools' cross country competition. 4 runners finished in the top 25 and qualified for the next stage, unfortunatley our Year 6 qualifiers will be in having an amazing time in Wales at CMC on the date of the final, so we only have one representative from Y5 attending, however we were very proud of all the pupils' efforts and behaviour on the day, they were a credit to themselves and to school. Well done!

UPDATE: Our Y5 runner came 32nd out of 150 finalists! Amazing!!!

Forest School

Different year groups have been visiting Forest School this half term. Children from Year 5 and Reception have been doing different activities, including making 3d feature maps, mud maps and clay faces.
